Martyrdom of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for restoration and promotion of democracy will ever be remembered, Speaker NA
Islamabad: : Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf , while paying tribute to the sacrifices of Quaid Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for the restoration and promotion of democracy, said that the sacrifices rendered by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for the sake of the country and democracy. These will always be written in golden letters in the Political annals of Pakistan. He said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto sacrificed his life for the sake of the country but did not bow his head Infront of a dictator. He said that Quaid -e- Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave Pakistan a unique position in the world of Islam due to his leadership skills. He expressed these thoughts in his message on the occasion of the 95th birthday of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, which being observed every year on 5th January with devotion and respect.
Speaker said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto played a very important role in the development of the country. He said that Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto always supported the truth and did not bow down to any dictator. He also passed the unanimous constitution of 1973. The Speaker said that the nation wou never forget the kindness and bravery of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto organized the second Islamic summit in Lahore in 1974 and brought together the heads of all Muslim countries on one platform. The Speaker said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was the founder of Pakistan’s nuclear program, he played a significant role in making Pakistan a nuclear power which the nation can never forget. He said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto made history by making Pakistan the only nuclear power in the Muslim world by laying the foundation of Pakistan’s nuclear program.
The Speaker said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto desired to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state in which all citizens have equal rights and can lead a prosperous life . He said that under the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zarari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is committed to the mission and desires to give the country a bright future. He said that the leader of the people sacrificed his life for the sake of the country, and the whole nation will always remember his services. He expressed his determination that the struggle will continue till the completion of the mission of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
