*Isb High Court directs ECP to hold LG polls tomorrow

Islamabad : The IHC announced dicision regarding Islamabad LB election. The Election Commission’s decision to postpone the election is illegal.
The Islamabad High Court has ordered that, the local body elections in 101 Union Councils of Islamabad to be held tomorrow 31st December 2022.
The court also ordered directed the federal government to provide complete assistance to the electoral body for conducting the local bodies’ elections as mandated by the Constitution.
