*Ch Nisar Ali Khan is not a challenge for Punjab Govt, Dr. Firdous*

Rawalpindi, Punjab Chief Minister’s Special Assistant for Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is a well-versed politician but he has ‏not only insulated public mandate but also wasted three years by not taking oath in the Assembly, he kept the voters as political orphans. She said that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is not a challenge for Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazar or Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) anyway.
This was stated by Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan while talking to reporters on the occasion of inauguration of Special Corona Vaccination Center for Journalists in Rawalpindi. President National Press Club Shakeel Anjum and Joint Secretary Shakeela Jalil also present on the occasion. Special Assistant Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Chaudhry Nisar deprived his voters of their rights. She said that PTI would not be affected by the arrival of Chaudhry Nisar or not, however, it may be that a new group will emerge in PML-N itself. She said that however, vaccination centers for journalists have been set up in Rawalpindi and before that, vaccination centers have been set up in press clubs in Lahore, Gujranwala and Sahiwal. She said that journalists have been performing their duties on the front line during the Corona epidemic. Therefore, on the direction of Chief Minister Sardar Usman, the health department would set up formal camps in 36 districts of the province to vaccinate journalists against Corona on priority basis. She said that in a democratic system, the journalist and the government are the two wheels of the vehicle and journalists lead the government in the face of all challenges. She congratulate journalists on the Protection Bill and the special efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan have brought in success the 12-year struggle of journalists and a bill has been promulgated over which all journalists agreed
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that due to the economic issues of the country, media houses and journalists are facing difficulties.The wheel of the poor economy has turned and its effects will be felt by the journalists as well as other sections of the country. She said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Bazar has made significant progress in the agricultural sector and record production has been achieved. She said that wheat production has increased by 8%, sugarcane production has increased by 22% and rice production has also increased which is the result of farmer friendly policies of the government. She said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Usman Bazar, the objectives of agricultural policy have been achieved which has made the farmer prosperous. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Chief Minister Punjab has fulfilled the dream of equal development in the backward areas of the province and the development package given in every district of Punjab is unprecedented in the past.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that inflation and unemployment are big challenges, in any case the mafia will be punished. She said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s slogan of accountability is the same for all and will apply equally . She said that Ehsas program has also received international acclaim, training of youth is a challenge and through Tevita we will make the youth skilled.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that 25% special allowance will be given in June salary as the government has always protected the interests of the salaried class and the same will be done in future also. She said that in the past sm mega projects with huge loans made the economy miserable. Replying to a question, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that she would arrange a special media briefing on Rawalpindi Ring Road and will answer every question of journalists.
