*Chairman of the Upper house of the Parliament Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani’s visit to the Republic of Djibouti*

Islamabad: At the special invitation of the newly-elected President of the Republic of Djibouti H.E Ismail Omar Guelle, Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani will embark on a four-day official visit to the Republic of Djibouti on 13 May 2021. Sadiq Sanjrani will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelle, to be held on 15 May 2021.

During the visit, the Chairman will hold bilateral meetings with the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Djibouti.

Sadiq Sanjrani is also expected to have meetings with the Speaker of the Djibouti National Assembly, Minister of Budget, Minister of Energy, and Minister of Communications and Information Technology, during his four-day visit.

Earlier in January 2021, a parliamentary delegation from Djibouti visited Pakistan. The delegations held meetings with high officials and parliamentarian in Pakistan. During the meetings, it was reached to work for further cementing parliamentary, social and economic linkages.
