Islamabad :China has confirmed emphatically that Pakistan will always remain a good partner and close friend.Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing expressed sentiments at the ceremony.The ambassador said Pakistan as a nation has the strength and resilience to overcome all the hardships and problems. He expressed confidence that after overcoming all of the challenges including the Covid-19, Pakistan will finally emerge as a stronger nation.The Chinese envoy said Pakistani government and agencies’ efforts have contributed to the country’s situation improving for Covid-19. He said is not a very simple achievement but a feat achieved through the concerted efforts of government and agencies concerned.Yao Jing was also appreciative of the assistance and cooperation of Pakistan against China when faced with the Coronavirus breakout.Chairman of the NDMA, Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal said in his remarks on the occasion that China has stood by Pakistan to cope with Covid-19 and locusts challenges.He said an aircraft loaded with more medical supplies including ventilators, test kits and surgical masks have arrived today from China in Islamabad. On the 31st of this he said more medical supplies would come from China.
