Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has remarked that role of minorities in the development and progress of the country is commendable. He expressed these views while awarding the certificate of appreciation to Dr. Ramesh Kumar MNA for his efforts in making the World Record of the largest Ballon Mosaic (Flag) 180.172 m2 in the Parliament House on 5th August 2019 at Parliament House today.The Speaker appreciated the role of Pakistan Hindu Council for making this record. He said that we all are citizen of Pakistan and we have to work together for the progress of the Nation. He said that Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan awards equal rights to all irrespective of cast, color and religion and incumbent government is committed to ensure constitutional Rights.On this occasion Dr. Ramesh kumar MNA from Hindu community expressed his gratitude to Speaker for this encouragement and support to minorities especially in the Parliament. He resolved that all minorities’ especially Hindu community would keep on participating for the progress of the Nation. He also resolved that Hindu Community like all other Pakistani citizens will celebrate the day of Pakistan independence with full zeal and zest. He said that minorities enjoyed equal rights and independently practicing their religion and culture freely in Pakistan.
