Before the launch, I visited the Development Center at the District Headquarters Hospital in Khyber District with my team to review the preparations for the Ehsas Development Program. A registration desk has been set up at the development center to facilitate deserving women. Where our staff will register pregnant and lactating women and their newborns in the development app. After registration, our staff will conduct a detailed examination of the height, weight and health of women and their children under two years of age associated with casting. Immunizations and food plans will be made for affected children and women. To monitor their health, they will be registered in the development app and the recorder will be kept in the guidebook.
Informational videos and awareness sessions on food, hygiene and health of women and their children have been specially arranged in regional languages for the benefit of women benefiting from the development program. Awareness sessions have been made mandatory for women users of Sense Development. After the awareness session, pregnant and lactating women and their vulnerable children will be provided with healthy extra food packets to prevent stunting. A separate counter has been set up for the distribution of extra food. The staff will provide complete guidance to the women on the use of this food. Consumer Women Consumer Cash Scholarships will also be given in this developmental program subject to maternal and child health.
After getting healthy food, women will be able to get the stipend from the ATM machine set up at the center, said Sania Nishtar.
