Usman Dar discussed PM Kamyab Jawan Programme with Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh

Islamabad :
Muhammad Usman Dar, SAPM on Youth Affairs called on Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Advisor to PM on Finance.
Appreciating Dr. Hafeez Sheikh’s continued support, Mr. Dar said that State Bank of Pakistan has issued circular to all banks regarding participation in PHASE-II of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme (PMKJP). He further said that various loans up-to Rs. 8 billion have been approved in the first phase of PMKJP.

Mr. Dar apprised the Advisor on Finance regarding interest shown by Asian Development Bank (ADB) to collaborate with Kamyab Jawan Programme in micro financing schemes.

Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said that his Ministry will ensure all required interventions to facilitate business activities in the country. He said that after signing of MoU between Ministry of Finance and Finance and ADB, additional financial resources will be made available for loans schemes under the umbrella of PM Kamyab Jawan Programme.

The advisor asked National Bank of Pakistan to facilitate release of more than 5000 loans approved by the bank at the earliest possible.
