Overall situation
According to the details released by the National Locust Control Center, joint teams of Agriculture Department, Food Security and Pakistan Army are conducting a comprehensive survey and control operation against locusts in different districts of the country. Are participating in the campaign.
So far 40999 square kilometers (approximately 10.07 crore acres) have been surveyed and 10586 square kilometers (approximately 14.26 million acres) have been controlled. 5349 people and 676 vehicles took part in the survey and control operation.
24 247785 acres were surveyed in the last 24 hours in Punjab province. 2554 people (including Pakistan Army) and 349 vehicles took part in the survey. So far, surveys have been conducted on 30 million acres across the province and operations have been carried out on 1131421 acres.

In the last 24 hours in Sindh province, 98675 acres were surveyed and operation was carried out in 1847 acres on the presence of locusts in 5 districts (Karachi, Thatta, Tharparkar, Badin and Khairpur). 627 people (including Pakistan Army) and 102 vehicles took part in the survey and control operation. So far, surveys have been conducted on 072 million acres and operations have been carried out on 174126 acres across the province.

  • In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the last 24 hours 156213 acres were surveyed. The survey involved 847 people (including Pakistan Army) and 106 vehicles. So far, surveys have been carried out on 57.1 million acres and operations have been carried out on 154527 acres across the province.
