Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar has said that the medical capacity to fight the corona virus is constantly increasing. Despite the limited time, the establishment of new hospitals is a reflection of the national spirit. Talking to media in Islamabad, the Federal Minister said that the medical staff fought the corona virus in the national spirit.
With the smart lockdown strategy overcoming the epidemic, business life is moving forward. He said that the new 250-bed hospital to be set up in Islamabad would play an important role in preventing epidemics.

Earlier, Asad Omar, Federal Minister for Planning, accompanied by Lt. Gen. Mohammad Afzal, Chairman, National Disaster Management Authority, visited various departments of the hospital and reviewed the state-of-the-art facilities provided there. The hospital has emergency, minor OT, radiology, laboratory, ITC units, isolation wards, isolation rooms and general wards. The hospital was built and commissioned in just 40 days with financial support from China.
The Federal Minister appreciated the high standard of medical facilities provided in the hospital and appreciated the spirit of the hospital staff and NDMA staff.
