Ministry of National Food Security and Research will plan in collaboration with the World Bank to control locusts, the statement said.
World Bank pledges 200 200 million and ADB pledges 150 150 million for locust infestation.
The World Bank’s promised financial assistance under the Locust Emergency and Food Security (LEFS) project will be considered.
The concept note was approved by the Economic Affairs Division

Leafs is the first federal agricultural project to be funded by the World Bank in Pakistan

The cost of the project is 200 million US dollars

Under LEFS, work will be done in 18 districts
