There are currently locusts in 45 districts of the country.
29 districts of Balochistan, 9 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3 districts of Punjab and 4 districts of Sindh are affected by locusts
Apart from Khuzdar, Awaran, Noshki, Chaghi, Gwadar, Athal, Ketch, Panjgur, Kharan, Vishk and Quetta, other districts in Balochistan were also affected.
In KP, the districts of Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, North and South Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Karam, Orakzai and Khyber were affected.
Locust attacks in Khairpur, Sanghar, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Matiari and Jamshoro in Sindh.

Survey and control operation of locust affected areas is underway.
1259 joint teams took part in the locust control operation.
In the last 24 hours, an area of ​​339,000 hectares was surveyed.
In 24 hours, 5,630 hectares of land was sprayed with locust-killing drugs.
An area of ​​3,100 hectares was sprayed in Balochistan.
An area of ​​1300 hectares was treated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

An area of ​​1200 hectares was treated in Sindh yesterday.
So far, 596,000 hectares have been sprayed across the country.
A 300-hectare area in Qila Abdullah was chemically sprayed by air.
