Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high-level briefing on the PIA passenger plane crash

A detailed briefing to Prime Minister Imran Khan on the investigation of the plane crash, the services of domestic and foreign experts to ensure a transparent and impartial inquiry into the crash and the progress so far.
 Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives in the plane crash, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the accident on the occasion of Eid was a great tragedy for the nation. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He said that in this hour of grief, they share in the grief of the bereaved families. “There is no substitute for human life, but the government assures the victims that all the demands of justice will be met in this tragic incident,” he said.
*The Prime Minister directed that no effort be spared to bring to light the transparent and impartial inquiry into the accident and the facts related to the incident.
 The Prime Minister said that the public would be fully informed of all the facts and details revealed in the inquiry report.
Talking about the air accidents that have taken place in the country in the past, the Prime Minister directed that the reports of all the accidents that have taken place in the past should also be made public so that the public can be aware of the facts in this regard.
The Prime Minister directed that a package be prepared to pay all possible facilities and compensation to the families of the martyred passengers as well as to the victims whose houses or properties have been affected by the accident.
The Prime Minister said that in order to make air travel safer, it is necessary to expedite the reform process in civil aviation, PIA, relevant agencies and factors related to air travel.
