Federal Minister for Railways I have approved to run 30 trains.
Announcing the resumption of train service across the country at a press conference, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid said that initially 30 trains would be run from May 20 and if conditions remained favorable, all trains would be restored from June 1. A new train schedule has been released.
Sheikh Rashid further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given approval to run trains following SOPs. Rehearsals will be held at all the stations tomorrow regarding the implementation of SOPs. Rides on trains have been halved and fares have not been increased.
On this occasion, the Federal Minister of Railways appealed to the people not to come to the railway station to drop off the passengers and said that only passengers should come to the railway station and come wearing masks ۔ In case of violation of SOPs, I will take action against the Division Head.
Replying to a question, Sheikh Rashid said that there was no conspiracy against the government and he did not see any amendment in the NAB Ordinance. If there is an amendment, I will oppose it.
