NDMA donates 1 million safety kits to PIA

Islamabad : 8 May, 2020

National Disaster Management Authority donates 1 million safety kits to PIA.
Kits include protective clothing, masks and goggles
These kits will be used by PIA personnel during the flight
Special thanks to CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik and Chairman NDMA General Afzal
All national institutions are engaged in the service of the country with full solidarity and unity. CEO Arshad Malik
Donated baggage will go a long way in securing PIA staff and passengers.
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) against COVID-19 to PIA. PPE items include protective clothing, goggles and face masks.

Donated PPE items will be used by crew of PIA special flights transporting stranded passengers.

Details Above mentioned special aircraft (Reg No-APFFL) arrived from Multan at about 1205hrs. 2x pax and 2x crew members arrived on said flight. All pax and crew were checked by CAA health staff in int.arrival and left int.arrival at about 1222hrs

Details above mentioned flight arrived from Urumqi at about 1130hrs. 06x crew arrived on said flight with Corona relief shipment including Surgical Masks, thermometers and Garments arrived on said flight.Crew remained in aircraft and said flight will be departed as ferry and expected departure time is 1520hrs
